We’re seeking a skilled Senior IT Support Technician to provide 2nd line support across a hybrid IT environment. You’ll act as an escalation point for 1st line support, resolving complex technical issues across networking, cloud services, servers, and end-user devices. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting skills and experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server environments.

Key Responsibilities
Provide 2nd line support for escalated IT incidents and service requests
Troubleshoot issues across networks, cloud platforms, servers, and end-user devices
Support Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy), Windows 10/11, and macOS
Administer Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
Diagnose and resolve network issues (LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls)
Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions
Contribute to IT projects, system improvements, and documentation
Support and mentor junior team members
Experience & Skills Required
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a 2nd line or senior IT support role
Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
Solid Windows Server administration experience
Experience supporting Windows and macOS devices
Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing systems
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills
Desirable:
- Microsoft, CompTIA (Network+/Security+), ITIL, or Cisco (CCNA) certifications
This role is permanent, working 37.5 hours a week. This role is based at our Group Support office in Christchurch but the role will involve regular travel to multiple locations.
