The Duty Manager will support the day-to-day operation of the park during peak season by acting as the senior point of contact on shift. The Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring a smooth and safe operation across departments including Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Leisure. This is a hands-on, highly visible leadership role requiring confident decision-making, proactive problem solving, and a passion for delivering excellent guest and owner experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Take operational responsibility during shifts, ensuring all departments are running smoothly and in line with company standards.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for guests, owners, and members while on duty.
  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance is maintained during shift, reporting and escalating issues as required.
  • Provide operational support and guidance to on-shift team members.
  • Complete duty manager logs, incident reports, and shift handovers.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a hospitality, holiday park, or leisure environment.
  • Working knowledge of Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Leisure operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures and responsibilities.
  • A hands-on leader who remains calm and professional under pressure.
  • Confident decision-maker with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

This is a 6-month Fixed Term contract working 40 hours per week. The nature of our business necessitates that the successful applicant will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays.
