The role of the Touring Warden is to oversee and maintain toilet/shower amenity blocks and touring fields in a clean and tidy condition to the standards set by the General Manager and to assist and direct touring caravanners using the Park.

Main Duties Include:

  • Maintain the toilet/shower/washing facilities and the outside appearance of the amenity building in a clean and tidy condition. 
  • Empty waste container in the amenity building. 
  • Take a general interest in the activity taking place on the touring fields. 
  • Reset electric hook up point trips as required. 
  • Monitor consumable materials used in cleaning and service and re-order through the Park Manager when required. 
  • Check and maintain in a clean and tidy condition the “multi-service pitch” service facilities. * Carry out grass cutting and pitch weeding as required. 
  • To cover park call out phone 3 nights per week.

Customer Care: 

  • a. Assist with customer queries or complaints (not expected always to act as a last line of solution to complaint).
  • b. Direct new arrivals to their pitches. 
  • c. Act as an information centre to touring customers. 
  • d. Assist/advise customers using multi-service pitch connections. 

Operations: 

  • a. Brief meeting daily with Park Manager. 
  • b. Undertake weekly briefing with Park Manager and report. The Hoburne Group November 2024 
  • c. Liaise with booking office (by radio). 
  • d. Obtain from booking office daily “Arrivals List” and “Departures List”. Check arrivals and departures. 
  • e. Ensure Park Rules are being observed and obeyed by customers, e.g. siting and parking correctly, no ball games around caravans. 

To carry out such further tasks as may from time to time be required and instructed by Park Manager.

This is a full-time role of 40 hours per week.  Pitch available for own campervan/caravan to stay on. The nature of our business necessitates that the successful applicant will be required to work some evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays
