To assist the head chef in the supervision of the Company’s various catering offerings within the park and ensuring all the companies standards and procedures are met.

For this role we are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic Chefs from within the leisure and hospitality industry. 

 

The successful candidate will have the ability to assist the team to deliver the highest level of food and service.

 

**With our menu's being changed with the seasons, the team are always working hard to deliver new and improved dishes with fresh local produce and suppliers, provenance and daily specials. 
**

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To Assist the Head Chef in the maintenance and development of the Catering Services in accordance with the Company’s standards and requirements in respect of the following main areas;

  • Food production, service and presentation

    Cleanliness and hygiene including the compliance with statutory regulations

    Contractor services/ordering of food etc.

    Quality control

  • To ensure the safe and correct supervision of Kitchen Staff at all times.

  • To issue tasks and responsibilities to the Kitchen Staff as required in the absence of the Head Chef (where applicable).

  • To assist in the adequate staff induction and on-the-job training to ensure all staff are trained on appropriate equipment prior to use.

  • To ensure Kitchen Staff are aware of and comply with the Group Health & Safety Policy at all times (including COSHH and Risk assessments).

  • To ensure that you and your Kitchen Staff are issued with and wearing the correct PPE for the task required.

They will also require the following:

  • Experience in the leisure and hospitality industry
  • Previous chef/kitchen experience
  • A high level of inter-personal skills
  • Self-motivation with a positive attitude
  • The ability to provide the highest level of customer care and service skills

 

This is a permanent, full time role, working 40 hours per week. We also pay overtime hours. 

The nature of our business necessitates that the successful applicant will be required to work some evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays.
