To assist in the operation and administration of the retail shop, Members, Pay & Play and Society booking systems and procedures in line with the Company’s standards and requirements. 

 

This position is responsible for;

 

*         To deliver a high standard of support in golf operations, including organising and running tournaments, providing expert advice on rules, monitoring tee sheet activity and handicapping records.

*         To work closely with the Golf Operations Manager in the developing new business in society and group golf.

*         To coordinate and deliver the smooth running of groups and societies communication with the relevant departments of the Club.

*         To take and reconcile stock following the Company’s procedures and practices.

*         Actively promote the membership offerings of the Club and Hoburne Golf

*         To ensure all areas of the golf operations are checked for hygiene and cleanliness.

*         To ensure all golfing advisory signage is prominently displayed and up to date.

*         Marketing the Club to attract new members and retain existing ones

 

The hours of work will be 40 per week as per the needs of the business. Early mornings are required as part of the role, this will be from 6.30am in peak season. 

 

The nature of our business necessitates that the successful applicant will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays.
