We are offering a one year contract for an Operations Manager to join the team at Hoburne Cotswold. This role is a secondment role. 

 

To make sure the Park facilities are operating, maintained and presented to the highest possible standards and to strive to continually improve standards and processes aiming to strengthen customer relationships to ensure the successful growth of the Park.

 

Hoburne Cotswolds has recently undergone a refurbishment in their Leisure and indoor play area. The multi-million pound investment brings to you a woodland theme play area and a newly designed indoor pool, slides, sauna and steam room and changing rooms. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

*        To coordinate and prepare the parks operational revenue and capital expenditure budget

*        To implement approved budgets and control accordingly to ensure achievement of profitability target

*        To manage the park operations to the highest standards through the promotion of a consistently high quality of customer service, both to existing and potential clients, with the aim that they be regarded as both a service leader in the industry and a service provider of choice

*        To implement a continual property and grounds maintenance programme that ensures compliance with Health and Safety and other statutory requirements

*        To promote the highest level of administrative standards, both to serve clients and to support company processes and overall business effectiveness

*        To propose potential opportunities for park development and contributing to the formulation, progression, approval and implementation of such plans

*        To create a people plan to adequately resource the park to effectively service client needs and expectations and to further develop and enhance the park operation

*        To identify, recruit and motivate a team of employees and initiate development activities to enable employees to realise their potential

*        To communicate effectively with the employee team to build awareness of the Company / park business strategy and objectives and to motivate employees in the attainment of these targets

*        To adhere to Health & Safety regulations and industry requirements

*        To attend training/meetings as requested by the Company

*        To carry out all reasonable and legitimate requests from the General Manager or Management team as requested.

 

This is a permanent contract working 40 hours per week. The nature of our business necessitates that the successful applicant will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays.
