Hoburne Devon Bay are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their team.

This role will involve reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, assist the Park Management team in the efficient and profitable running of the business to the required standards and to undertake such operational duties as specified by Management including those duties as detailed below. 

 

The successful candidate should possess the following attributes: -

 

*        Have a flexible attitude to working hours, as this position may involve weekends and bank holidays 

*        Experience in grounds tasks 

*        Focussed on delivering a high standard of work 

*        A 'hands on' approach and 'can do' attitude for day-to-day issues 

*        Able to adapt quickly to situations as they arise with a sense of urgency 

*        Organised, hardworking and conscientious 

*        Full Driving Licence 

 

Key skills and responsibilities include;   

 

*           Supervise and plan workloads for the Maintenance team 

*           Deputise in the absence of the Maintenance Manager 

*           To collect waste/rubbish and maintain waste disposal points if required 

*           To carry out tree checks and maintenance as far as possible 

*           To ensure the maintenance of road and pathways throughout the park 

*           To assist in the landscaping of new areas as and when required 

*           To ensure all vehicles, tools, machinery, and equipment used are cleaned and maintained at all times 

*           To ensure all maintenance records are up to date and always maintained 

*           To carry out pool maintenance if required 

*           To carry out fire point checks, maintenance, and upkeep 

*           To ensure you are in receipt of and wear appropriate dress consisting of the required PPE when on duty and always abide by the park rules 

 

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The nature of our business necessitates that the successful applicant will be required to work some evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays. If you think you have the experience, skills and attributes we are looking for, please apply.
