Crane Valley Golf Club offers a complete golf complex with 27-holes of golf, floodlit Trackman driving range and extensive short game practice facilities. The host venue for the 2024 Dorset Golf Championships.

 

Summer hours 06:00-14:30 (05:30-09:30 for weekends)

Winter hours 06:30-15:00 (Normally Nov-March)

 

The role is to assist in the care and maintenance of the Golf course Machinery and Equipment to the Company’s standards.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To attend on duty as rostered and agreed with the Course Manager.

  • To ensure your standard of dress, behaviour and hygiene are of the standard required and are maintained at all times.

  • To carry out the opening and closing down procedures of the greenkeepers shed.

  • To assist in the maintenance the golf course in accordance with the Company’s standards and requirements with particular respect to the greens, tees, fairways, rough & semi rough, lakes, safety netting, bunkers, signage and general course equipment (flags, poles, tee markers etc.)

  • To operate and maintain all machinery and equipment as required and in a safe manner. Report all repairs and damages for rectification.

  • To ensure compliance with Company and Statutory Regulations with special attention to Health & Safety, Environmental issues, C.O.S.H.H. use of chemicals and treatments.

  • To attend all briefings and meetings as required

  • To liaise with the Course Manager in the smooth running of all golf activities and other areas in which the care of the course and the play of golf overlap.

Experience would be helpful but full training will be given- being a golfer would be advantageous although not essential.

 

A full driver’s licence is required. This is a fulltime, permanent role, offering a 40 hour contract
