Preparation of management accounts for holiday parks. Assist in budget and forecasting. Management of utility costs and recharges. Payment processing and balance sheet management.

 

Summary of Main Tasks/Duties

*       Prepare monthly management accounts for a number of holiday parks, providing analysis and commentary on key movements against budgeted and forecasted results

*       Assist in annual budgeting and regular forecasting

*       Preparation of monthly accruals and prepayments

*       Prepare site fees and rents and raise invoices

*       Process payments to sublet owners on a quarterly basis

*       Administer payments to owners leaving Parks, ensuring that checks are completed on correctness of process by Sales Admin at Parks and Group Support

*       Process payments on BANKLINE facility

*       Raise the rates for water and sewerage charges annually

*       Manage electricity and gas  – liaise with energy management provider and supplier to raise and resolve queries, reconcile bills, monitor energy usage, raise charges for owners

*       Carry out Balance Sheet checks and ensure that the data is complete, accurate and agrees to the underlying ParcVu and Navision systems. Significantly, this includes sales ledger management.

*       Ad-hoc processing of sundry sales invoices

*       Prepare National Statistic Returns

*       Provide support to the finance team

*       Document processes and procedures, identify and implement improvements

*       Assist in testing of system upgrades

*       Be a key contact for Park administrators to liaise regarding charges and other queries

*       To attend training/meetings as requested by the Company

*       To carry out all other reasonable requests by your Manager and wider Management team

 
 

Knowledge, Experience, Skills, Attributes & Qualifications

*       Part qualified AAT (final stage) or CIMA, ACCA

*       Full UK driving license

*       Highly numerate with attention to detail

*       Previous experience of management accounts

*       An understanding of accounting in a medium sized company – general ledger, journals

*       Systems oriented with at least intermediate level Excel

 

This role is permanent, working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm.
